We're living in unprecedented times. The World Health Organization has declared COVID-19 a pandemic. Governor Cuomo mandated that public gatherings be no larger than 500 people in New York State. This has been our prayer, "Lord, grant us YOUR wisdom on how Greece Assembly can best respond to COVID-19 with the desire to glorify You, care for our precious church family, and provide comfort to our community through acts of service - sharing the love of our glorious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ."

Some have expressed frustration as they think this situation is overblown.  Others express concern that not enough is being done. Regardless of your opinion, we can all be confident that none of this has taken God by surprise. God is not wringing His hands over the coronavirus. He has the situation under control. May the Word of our faithful and sovereign Lord bring comfort to your heart - "The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe." (Proverbs 18:10)

SCROLL DOWN for information and updates in regards to Greece Assembly's Readiness Response to COVID-19.  It is our prayer for Greece Assembly to be used by God to be a presence of calm and peace for each other and to our community.  If you know of anyone in need, please let us know how we can help. We want to serve our neighbors and encourage them in any way that we can.

We will continue to prayerfully reassess things, and will post updates on this page, as well as on Facebook and through emails.

On a practical note, please be sure to thoroughly wash your hands - this is always a good health practice!
