Hand Motions for Kids Easter Choir

Hi Parents, below is a video of the kids at the last rehearsal doing the hand motions. This is to help your child get familiar with the motions if they have not been able to attend rehearsal. We are only doing motions for the chorus (which repeats three times throughout the song) and the bridge (comes after the second chorus).  So this recording is from the 2nd chorus to the end of the song. It will allow them to see the chorus motions twice, and the bridge in between.

Simple Hand-Motions Description:

CHORUS:

"He rose" - raising right arm slowly

"3 days later" - lowering arm showing three fingers

"grave couldn't hold him down/death has no power now" - crossing arms in front of body, and then breaking them apart

"He rose" (repeats) - lift both arms quick and then bounce

BRIDGE:

"I will lift my hands to the God above" - slowly lift both arms and hold up

"who saved me in His perfect love" - lower arms to cross chest and rock back and forth

"I will lift my hands to the God on high" - slowly lift both arms and hold up

"who saved me...by laying down His life" - lower arms to cross chest and then bend forward with arms lowered
