OpportunitIES to provide Relief in Ukraine

As Putin’s invasion of Ukraine becomes more and more intense, we continue to pray, calling on the Highest Authority in the name of Jesus, believing for Divine intervention. We have reached out to several Ukrainian contacts to see how we can be of immediate support and help to the Ukrainian refugees. Three solid opportunities have presented themselves:

1.  We have direct connection to a church in Uzhorod Zakarpattia Oblast, Ukraine that is taking in refugees – providing shelter and food. Financial contributions would help cover food, water, and needs that arise.

2.   We have direct connection to a church in Kharkiv, Ukraine. This city has been bombarded the heaviest so far. The pastor has refused to evacuate in order to help dislocated families. All donations help provide food, shelter, and assistance in evacuating mothers and their children.

3. A local Ukrainian brother, who is a member of the Slavic Pentecostal Church on Ridge Rd, is flying to Poland, March 6. He is providing tactical and medical supplies, nonperishable food, blankets, thermal underwear, personal hygiene items, first aid kits, tents, sleeping bags, mattresses, standalone lamps and candles, canisters for water, cans for fuel, and generators. He is serving with a local ministry that is helping refugees. Financial contributions help cover the cost of the shipments, as well as cover the cost of items that can be purchased in Poland to bring to the refugees.

The immediate need for these three opportunities is financial support. Greece Assembly has committed to help all three in this way. If you would like to make a donation towards these needs…
