In the midst of folding laundry, coordinating carpool schedules, keeping up the house, and breaking up fights, many parents get lost. It’s easy to lose sight of our ultimate purpose as parents. On three Wednesday evenings in August, Pastor Pat will be sharing several foundational and practical principles, centered on the gospel, that will help you raise God-worshipers. Parents are parenting a family of worshipers. The question is: “Who, or what, are they worshiping?” The capacity of the heart of our children to worship is meant to drive them to God. Christian parents have been called by God to be one of His tools in forming a human soul into a God-worshiper. Our prayer is that you will be encouraged by a grand perspective of parenting—bursting with vision, purpose, and joy! During the “PARENT WITH A PURPOSE” sessions, we will have some exciting ministry for children ages 0 through 8th grade. They will be discipled in God’s Word and have some summer fun! High school students are encouraged to serve with the kids. We will be serving pizza each of these evenings, from 6 PM - 6:30 PM. The session will begin promptly at 6:45 PM. Everyone attending the sessions will receive a free copy of the book, PARENTING by Paul David Tripp. Please note: These are in-person sessions only.
