Worship Wednesdays
Wed, Aug 17th 11am - 12pm
Room 217
Greece Assembly of God 750 Long Pond Rd Rochester, NY 14612

Beginning July 6, you are invited to join members of the pastoral team in room 217 for worship and prayer on Wednesdays. We will pray for Refuge Student Ministry’s services, Sunday’s services, summer outreach events, and much more. When Jesus said, “My house shall be called a house of prayer,” He was quoting from Isaiah 56:7—“These I will bring to My holy mountain and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on my altar. For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.” The prophetic word spoken by Isaiah points to the time when the LORD would unite both Jew and Gentile and accept the worship and prayers of the Gentiles. This prophecy was fulfilled in Christ. The apostle Paul wrote, “For Christ Himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in His own body on the cross, He broke down the wall of hostility that separated us” (Ephesians 2:14). Now as a unified people in Christ, Jesus promises, “…where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them” (Matthew 18:20). Jesus promises to be present in our prayer meeting. When we gather...come expecting! Amen!
